Aim is to collect information about developer preferences, what works and what does not work. Results can be used in designing new developer portals, drive more trafic to APIs accessed via more attractive and developer focused API portals. Results also help in understanding what kind of content works in B2D marketing.

After the summer I went through previous research about developer portals. I also visited plenty of portals and discussed the topic with my developer network members.
In September I crafted the survey for most parts. In October survey was tested by a developer (API Consumer) to verify that it makes sense.
Survey will be open for 20 days.
The results are analyzed and blog post will be written in Medium.com. Survey data is uploaded to Github.
